my church we have this 'tradition' for the youths to have a camp each year to like strengthen the bonds among us n to grow in Christ together.. cuz i joined recently so i missed the one last yr due to having school..

then this year, i didn't have the money but some church members chip in for me so i paid lesser, that's y i got to go.. eventhough i having sch now.. (one assignment due tomorrow that i haven't started.. =_= ) but i'm really glad that God made it possible for me to go!! it was a POWERFUL n WONDERFUL camp!! ^_^

started on friday til today juz now. fri we arrived we rested n unpack stuffs then we had a Bible Study (BS) with the past camp commander.. (with loads of experience) n it was good!! haha... i mean there was a lot of bible flipping but guess wat? when he asked for volunteers to read the various verses, we were all competing to read them!! XDD really.. it was that good.. that BS1 we talked abt the different ways of praise and worship that Lord wanted from us with quotes from the bible. then after that was dinner n shower.

next day, meaning yesterday, we woke up super early to start if the day with devotions then back for breakfast n BS2. we had a 'special' speaker, he's a 3 stripes officer(?) in the army then went to the Aceh to help out after the tsunami... so got some stuffs to share.. he talked abt the identity of us christians n like how we should live a purpose-driven life!! ^_^ after that was lunch then back again for BS3.

it was ard the same theme.. eventhough the two of them didn't talk abt wat they were gonna do!! so God muz have wanted them to guide us there totally!! after that we have games!! treasure hunt in sentosa!!! we ran almost all ard there man!! haha.. there was this station that if u wanna fast-forward, one person from ur group have to carry this PYTHON ard the neck then another member has to KISS it... n i got the KISS it part... =_= haha.. but it was okie.... really.... hmm... eventhough we finished second, it was fun!! oh ya... all the questions from the diff stations were realated to bible verses/context.. so we learned too.. ^^;; while running ard sweating.. =X

then after that was already evening ready for the bbq~~ we invited the adults to join us n one of them brought three of his youth friends along... non-christians.. so we interacted quite good if i might say!! not during the eating part.. but after eating i thought of playing this game n invited them too~ haha.. it's that kinda silly numbers game where the losers gotta do a forfeit... ^_^ one of the new-comers, calvin, lost n didn't wanna do the "peel banana dance" (crystal n ronald) did this.. so he opted to do the "toothpaste on face" forfeit.. of cuz for these forfeits we took photos!! haha... after that paul wanted us to play "murder" game, the one where u kill by blinking ur eyes at the civilian.. n there's one policeman to catch ya.. okie... that was really fun... but when i got the murderer slip of paper.. i didn't dare to kill anyone n there was another murderer doing all the work... then the first victim i chose... i held his eye contact n HAVEN'T blink, n he went "caught u!! u are the murderer!!" =_= that was so unlucky... the first person i chose has gotta be the POLICE!! haha... XDD but okie... still fun!! the best game was the last when paul joined us.. he was the murderer he's so pro.. he even killed the other murderer.. he killed more than 10 of us.. n one of the police (siewchoon) killed a civilian so out of game too!! XD

then this morning woke early again, had devotions then breakfast n changed to church clothings n packed to make our way back to church!! after the sermon in church we all proceeded to chun's house, cuz condo then there's an area that we can have activities... there we held our break-camp presentation. my group, grp 3, we had to come up with a dance item... then the other grps had games n skit. our dance won the first price!!! hehe... we did three songs~~ u know.. thos kinda that u lead n the 'audience' follow ya~~ we did "father abraham", "we wanna see Jesus lifted high" n "we've got peace like a river" (edited version).. it's funny la... haha... the skit was abt unity in church.. oh did i forget to mention that this camp's title is "Unity in Diversity" for image bearers~ =P

we all got a cert to say that we went thru this camp~~ haha... nice~ yupz.. am super happy i went.. ^^;;
